For this, Walgreens launches a project named Walk with Walgreens – an event to improve your health condition with appropriate exercise. To be far away from heart disease, cancer, diabetes and to enjoy the scalable fitness activities, you do not need to recruit a training, have special equipment or clothes to start walking, instead, what you need is having a good habit of keep walking certain distance every day.
Walk with Walgreens Instruction
The Walk with Walgreens website is an online community created to bring wellness into people’s lives through education, and inspiration. Members will be encouraged by Ali Sweeney, expert contributors and fellow members to walk their way to health through daily posts about benefits of walking, nutrition, gear, community events, and more. Participants will be given tools to log their walks and track their progress, and help to reach their personal goals on health.
Your participation in Walk with Walgreens will earn you not only health but also fun badges and cool coupons for great products. Commenting on posts, uploading walks and sharing your updates with others will land you on your way to rewards, but first you need a Steps with Balance Rewards membership to get started. If you are new to Steps with Balance Rewards, please register first. If you are an existing Walk with Walgreens member, you should move your information to the enhanced online experience. You can take the following steps:
- Verify & Move. Some basic information is needed to confirm your Walk with Walgreens membership.
- Synchronize Your Membership. Sign in or register for a Walgreens account so that you can synchronize your Walk with Walgreens membership.
After finishing that, you can move your Walk with Walgreens membership by filling in your e-mail address, date of birth and zip code so that you can upgrade to Steps with Balance Rewards. Please notice that if you don’t move your information, all your current Walk with Walgreens information would be lost and you can’t take part in those communities and forums you once belong to.
Then you can have the chance to get rewards. It is good for you to set fitness goals, track your progress and earn Balance Rewards points along the way. It’s real that you can earn 20 points for every mile you walk or run and 20 points when you track your weight. Besides, you can connect with friends in the community, motivate one another, and get inspired by success stories. The community gives you a place to talk about any topics you would like to know about on Walk With Walgreens.
