When the carrier comes at your door but you are out, you will miss your mails. If you would not like to always bother your neighbors, just resort to USPS Redelivery Service. With it, you may easily schedule redelivery online and look up your items eventually.
For mail redelivery, the peach-colored slip is a necessity. The carrier will leave it at your door when he or she misses you during mail delivery. For the same-day redelivery access, your request must be submitted by 2 a.m. between Monday through Saturday.
- Type the article number found on the slip left by your carrier then click the “Submit” button and choose the type of your mail.
- Answer some questions about the last notice and date of your mails.
- Choose the way & date your mail will be redelivered, leave your additional instructions and press the button marked “Submit” to finish it.
For pickup information, you can check with your local Post Office. Entertools.usps.com/go/POLocatorAction!input.action, choose the location type as well as distance, input the city, state or zip code and press the “Search” button to find a local Post Office.
